My Stories — Part II

Everything begins with a fingerprint

Everything begins with a fingerprint.
With a single touch.

A touch seems insignificant, almost invisible.
Yet we never really know how it will unfold in time.

A touch is like a seed placed into the soil.
Small, discreet — and full of potential.

Once planted, it starts a chain of impulses.
Those impulses travel, echo, amplify.

This is creation — literally and philosophically.

Touch as experience, not gesture

Very early in my hairdressing career, I understood something essential:
before technique, before form, before beauty — there is touch.

A good head massage,
a mindful scalp ritual,
a calm shampoo moment
could transform the entire experience.

Sometimes people already felt beautiful
long before the haircut was finished.

Wellbeing did not come at the end of the service.
It began with the first contact.

The small welcoming hug.
The hands in water.
The first attentive touch.

The imprint we leave

Touch has another dimension.
It is not only physical — it is temporal.

We arrive on this earth and we touch the ground.
We move through space,
through people,
through moments.

And we leave imprints —
in memories,
in bodies,
in places,
in environments.

This may sound metaphysical,
but it is also our most concrete reality.

Fingerprints are everywhere.
Visible or invisible.

Nothing we touch remains unchanged.

Ritual, not routine

This is what the slogan teaches — and invites.

A routine is repetition.
A ritual is repetition with presence.

A ritual adapts.
It listens.
It responds to the actual need of the moment.

At NEOTEN, a ritual never starts with a product.
It starts with awareness.
With intention.
With one single, first touch.

Because everything begins there.
With a fingerprint.

Part II ends here.
